Mireille Felicia. Door. March 03rd , 2017.
Re-facing is a cheaper and faster option compared to pulling down everything and starting fresh. It involves covering up your old cabinets with new ones and is completed in a day or two. The downside to this option is that though the kitchen gets a new look, the appliances and the cabinets still remain the same.
The components that are used for constructing the outer and inner frame are par excellence. The outer frame consists of layers of galvanized steel that provides for unmatched security. The inner frame is made of hardwood which puts burglaries and thefts completely out of question.
It is rather difficult to have an objective view of something you see every day. That's why you need to take a picture of the front door. The picture preferably, should be 4x6 inches. Cut out the front door from the picture, and place paint chips from the hardware store behind the photo. This will enable you to see how the facade of your home will look in various colors.
If you are replacing existing door handles, then ensure the new hardware has the same drill centers as the previous model. Else, you will be left with extra drill holes that will have to be covered separately.
